Interested In Becoming an Official?

Ringette Officials are all part of the National Officials Certification Program (NOCP) which is managed by Ringette Canada.

Ringette Officials are an integral part of the sport of Ringette and the development of Ringette ON Officials is an important part of Ringette ON. As athletes grow and develop so must all our officials. Ringette ON sends officials to all major events including, Provincial Championships, Ontario Winter Games, Eastern Canadian and National Ringette Championships.

1. Register for a Level 1 officiating clinic. Please refer to the Ringette Canada - Home (officiatingringette.ca) for more information.

2. When you complete the clinic, contact your local association Referee-in-Chief (if you are unsure who to contact, reach out to Steph)

3. Complete a Volunteer Screening Check and/or Enhanced Police Record Check

4. Register with Ringette Ontario

• Registering solely as an official $70.00

• Registering as an official and a coach or player $57.25 (Please email membership@ringetteontario.com for a coupon code if also registering as a coach or player)

Please note that registration fees are non-refundable.

• Skates

• Black CSA certified helmet

• Whistle

• Black pants

• Official’s jersey
