Pin Exchange
Teams are encouraged to bring city, or their own ringette association pins to exchange with the 5 teams they will play during round robin. Pins will be exchanged between teams before or after the game. Please do not exchange pins on the ice.
Positivity Pin Trading
Teams are also encouraged to bring "positivity pins" - decorated clothes pins with messages that spread positivity - to trade with other teams. This is a trend that started with Cheer teams, that has expanded to other sports. Look up "positivity pins TikTok trend" for inspiration!

Hockey Pants
Note that RO previously relaxed the rules around teams wearing hockey pants at this event.
We do require all players who are not wearing ringette pants to wear the same hockey socks to ensure our officials can quickly differentiate the two teams.
All teams travelling to the Markham area are required to use Event Connect for their hotel bookings.
All registered teams will be sent the information to book in January.
Once we have the launch date from Event Connect, this will be communicated to all teams. A minimum of 5 rooms must be booked for a minimum of 2 nights, or the team will be fined $1,000.
Event Payment
The registration fee for all divisions is $1,600.00
Entry fee payment should be made to Ringette Ontario through e-transfer.
